As promised, today’s email topic is my strategy behind why I chose to contribute TWO of my digital products (that I could be selling/do sell for $297* and $47** respectively) to the Lazy Funnel Bundle.
Then, I talked about bundles from a business perspective – as the host, the contributor, and the buyer.
MY BUNDLE CONTRIBUTION STRATEGY:
1) Accountability to complete an open loop.
When Dama finally got around to inviting me to contribute to her bundle (read Tuesday’s email for ref), I decided that I was going to use her bundle deadline as a driving force behind finishing some course content that had been plaguing me for longer than I’m willing to spell out in this email.
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I get so stalled and caught up – for no good reason – on things that I need to do, and just can’t break past it.
I find that embarrassing to admit because – in my head, creating course content falls under the umbrella of “productive” – so then I beat myself up for not practicing the productivity I preach.
But if I’m being honest with myself (and you, obviously), instead of being self-critical, the “problem” is that CREATIVE endeavors (and creating pre-recorded course content is a top creative energy-drain) should NOT be expected to flow out of me like any other task.
What I’ve come to realise is that what finally breaks through my resistance is a commitment to someone who trusts me (it has to be an individual and not a group of people for some reason).
What I’m saying is – I offered to contribute my Beyond Productive with Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides and PHOTOS course to Dama’s bundle because that meant that I would have the drive to complete the missing lessons to deliver on my promise to my friend.
How’s that drive going, you ask?
Well, ask me. No, really – email me and I’ll tell you.
In short, better than it was, but not as well as I hoped. BUT the momentum has picked back up, and buyers of Beyond Productive with Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides and PHOTOS will not be disappointed. The Google Photos module is shaping up REALLY nicely!
~~ Beyond Productive is a course that is normally offered to buyers of Get Productive with G Suite for $97 (regular $297). It includes one module on each of Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms and PHOTOS (a big one!) (a fun one!). It is included in the Lazy Funnel Bundle (along with 79 other templates, resources, digital products, and assets) for just $99 total. ~~
2) Dama sweetened the affiliate deal.
I didn’t even know this was a thing, but Dama is paying out 70% commission to any contributor who added TWO contributions to the bundle! I believe that’s somewhat unheard of – usually commission is only 50%.
And yes, I could have shoved “LastPass Mastery” in there (a $47 product) and gotten 50% from you buying the bundle, but – see #3…
3) I wanted to really incentivize you to buy the bundle!
Most of my Get Productive with G Suite students *don’t* have Beyond Productive with Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides and PHOTOS. [YES it’s a mouthful!]
And even if you didn’t buy it on that first check out page, I never offered it again – until now.
So talking about the virtues of the Beyond Productive course in my emails – a little education, a little teasing makes for great email content
And I get to offer you Beyond Productive for $99, which is a chance to snag it at the original sale price, and you get a bonus of 79 other products to choose from, too!
Essentially – I get to email you and say “here’s a second chance to buy Beyond Productive at the originally discounted price and BONUS! you’ll get a stack of other valuable products included – all for $99!”
Speaking of which – if you already own both of my products that are in this bundle – email me and I’ll see if I have something else to offer you. I mean it! It would be my pleasure.
It’s so slick.
p.s. Go buy this bundle. No regrets. It’s full of value and things you will definitely want or neeeeeeed at some point soon!
p.p.s If you already own Beyond Productive and LastPass Mastery (my two bundle contributions (and are buying the bundle), email me and I’ll find you something else you’ll love.
