Introducing: the “/preview” URL Trick for Google Docs, Sheets, Slides.
At the end of the URL in the address bar of any Google Doc, Sheet, or Slide:
Swap out /edit (and whatever other characters come after it) for /preview and you or anyone who is allowed to view the file will see it without any menus.

Some great recent cases for this /preview trick:
- Sharing an event schedule (here’s a real example from a recent squash tourney)
- Google Slides show full-screen in the browser, with slide numbers showing in the lower left of the browser window (click here to see a real presentation example)
- ^ btw, if you host a group that could benefit from this interactive presentation, reach out! ^
Either way, looking cool / savvy while sharing a document is always a (#nerd) win!
