So, you’re doing the #entrepreneurlife.

95% of the time it’s amazing.

Now, let’s talk about that other 5%.

Ever get the feeling your business is running YOU?

When you first start out as your own boss, it’s easy to picture a life of mai-tais in hand (Yes, in this vision you’re double-fisting it), and your laptop casually packed in your beach bag. Everything goes smoothly, and your business practically runs itself!

Then reality sets in.

The work piles up and you get pulled in a bazillion directions. Your back-end systems become disorganized, and your productivity takes a nosedive. Next thing you know, all the time you spend fumbling for passwords and scrambling for files keeps you from doing what you love – and making money. (That last one reeeeeallly hurts.)

Luckily, there’s a better way.

Dara

Hi, I’m Dara, and I’m an _____________.

Sometimes, I have a hard time completing this sentence. (And no, it’s not for the reason you’re thinking.) I’ve been running my own business since I was 26, and so I’ve worn ALL.THE.HATS.

Administrator.

Marketer.

Delegator.

Business Strategist.

Funnel Tech Wizard.

Systems Integrator.

Productivity GEEK.

The list goes on...

Through it all, my desire for and love of efficiency and productivity has always risen to the top. So, just know this: I’m Dara, and I’m here to help you organize and scale your business.

How? By maximizing the tools (with an emphasis on the fundamentals – the Google Tools like Gmail and Google Drive and even your Google Chrome web browser that you already have), so that running your business becomes easier, more enjoyable, and more profitable. (#heckyes)

Ingenious or evil? You decide.

You could say that I became an entrepreneur at the tender age of six, when I started selling kisses to my parents. Shameless, right?! Talk about a born marketer. Today, I’m not a “salesy” person at all. My passion is helping people – especially those who are stuck or overwhelmed in their business. Call me geeky, but I love nothing more than to roll up my sleeves and share strategies that will save my clients time, energy, and money.

What this means for you is that should we ever work together, I’ll only offer advice that will genuinely support you in your business. It’s never about my bottom line. I want you to have the knowledge and tools you need to course-correct the inefficiencies in your business and scale to your wildest dreams. *cue those mai-tais for real!*

I learned the hard way too.

For the longest time in my business, I struggled with having an uncomfortable backlog of behind-the-scenes work and billable client work. I also had trouble hiring help and delegating. How could I outsource when my files and systems were like one massive junk drawer?

Put simply, I was a workaholic stress ball.

Finally, I realized it was my high-level use of tools that allowed for collaboration and sharing - the ones that sync to the cloud, like the Google tools (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Chrome, etc) that were the quiet heroes in my business. I started maximizing how I used these tools, and they became the core of my personal and business productivity. And once my productivity increased, so did my profits.

It sounds like an oversimplification, but imagine just knowing where to find everything, always?

The key is being organized so that you aren’t fumbling for passwords or sifting through computer files when you should be getting work done and making money. And trust me, it’s not as daunting as you’d think. Even if you have a decade’s worth (or more) of files and photos on your computer, you can still be efficient - if you’re organized!

More than just a pretty face and a productivity hack.

As a Funnel Gorgeous Society Certified Master Marketer (whew, try saying that one five times fast!), I’m a triple threat in offer creation & sales funnel strategy, copywriting, and design. So, when you hire me for a half-day VIP strategy (or ACTION!) session, I’ll give you advice based on considering your business from ALL angles. I’ll also tap into my own decades-long experience as an entrepreneur. (Remember, I’ve been winning hearts and wallets since I was six years old!). So, whether you need clarity on what to focus on next or you seek tactical tips on email integration, funnel set-up, and more, I’ll help you clear the overwhelm and make s*@# happen!

Enough business talk. Let’s get to the juicy stuff!

And so begins a completely random list of things about me. I’m just a Canadian girl, standing in front of your computer screen, asking you to love me …

I live in a (relatively) small town. Never thought I could or would, but I love it and would have trouble going back.

I’m an avid squash player. In 2020, I landed a spot in the Canadian Masters’ Team Champs. Hooray for being 40+!

I’m a PC user and not embarrassed that I haven’t been called over to the Mac world. #sorrynotsorry

Equally controversial: I love stale licorice.

I’m not a girly girl. I don’t wear makeup (never have, don’t even own any), or dye my hair.

I live in a (relatively) small town. Never thought I could or would, but I love it and would have trouble going back. I’m all about the fresh air, outdoors, and mountains. And the friendly people. Eye contact and hellos with strangers on the bike trails or out for a walk make my day.

If Monica Geller were... Canadian, and Tech Savvy, I might still like to vacuum more than she does. But, I'd Be There For Youuuuu... and all your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Chrome and LastPass questions 😍

I feel like I can fit in in a lot of places and circumstances. Extrovert, much?

I’m an ESTJ (The Executive) on the Myers Briggs scale, a 4 6 6 4 on the Kolbe Index and an Enneagram 8 (The Powerful, Dominating Type: Self-Confident, Decisive, Willful, and Confrontational). #monicagellermuch?

I have won awards from Squash BC and Squash Canada for my role in bringing more women into the sport. I (volunteer) run our local squash club and am super proud that we have over 48% women members!
